Who's got a homemade divide drive??

Hello y'all!

I hope i put this in the right forum section??
If not please move it to the right place??

My question is: has anybody made a divide drive for the lathe they have?
Or is it even possible to make one?

I have an old Hembrug AI and want a divide drive to make small parts, only thing is these thing are off the scale in pricing :angry:
So have you made a divide drive yourself, are you willing to show me (and others) how you did that??

I was thinking of a disc mounted on the spindle, just behind the chuck, with the pin mounted on the fixed head somehow...:scratchchin:
Or use the geardrive as a scale...
