schaublin 70

I recently obtained a used Schaublin 70 lathe. It is not the latest boxy model where the motor is integral to the headstock. It has the traditional look to it. The headstock is the type in which the pulley is driven from below. There are NO oil nipples for the bearings. I was told this is a newer model . Is this correct? Does this mean the bearings are sealed and do not require any maintenance?

Thank You
