Hembrug DR1S 5C Alignment pin replacement

Hembrug Lathe DR1S Need help and or some information:
“on how to replace a ’ 5C alignment Pin‘ on inside of the main shaft that’s just behind the Chuck” (see attachment)
Seems that the Pin has ‘ been broken or sheared or pushed flush’ somehow with the tube inside Dia.
(When looking inside the Spindle about 3 or so inches end, I can see the 5C alignment pin looks pushed even with the inside Dia.)
(This pin aligns the 5c Collet when ever inserted)

I am thinking that I may need to disassemble the whole complete upper drive Shaft just to get at that pin to install a new one.
(I realy dont want to do that unless no other way:nutter:)

Anyone have any ideas?
