Converted Schaublin 3ph motor to restore, internal wiring mystery, help!

The 2 speed 3ph 230v motor on my 102N was converted to single phase by a hobbyist, it needs to be a 3ph motor again.
In 1999 I got wiring schematics from Schaublin and brought the motor to a motor shop to sort out.
They told me it was irreversibly modified so I've been running it on 220 single phase all these years.

Here's what has been done, is this common? Does the external wiring imply what is inside? The Schaublin drawings don't show internal wiring but there may be hints in the speeds and power designations.

The motor runs nicely as single phase. It starts without fuss and runs at 1800 rpm. The work seems to have been done by a motor professional, there are non original wires used inside the motor that are intended for that(Beldin 3191).

Coming out of the motor are tagged wires numbered 1-4 and two aftermarket wires labeled "?" in the sketch and two red wires.
The terminal block for jumpering that's implied by the schematic on the cover is gone. A capacitor and motor starter thing are wired in.
