Schaublin 102VM how to belt tension ?

Hi,

recently bought a Schaublin 102VM in what appears to be good condition.



I'm struggling with the belt tension - Can't get the motor v belt tight and still have the flat spindle belt tight



If i get it right than the only adjustment option I have is the pedal screw (orange arrow). could it be that the belt have stretched out of tolerance and that's why I can't get them to be tight at the same time ?

any help would be appreciated
