Schaublin 102 VM grease clean up and teardown pics

Hi,

Hi all,
Got this beauty a few months back for about 250USD.
It looks to have been lightly used but unfortunately it has been greased up through and through.
So I'm taking my time, taking it apart bit by bit to clean out the gunk.
I've made lots of reference pictures for me to re assemble but perhaps it could be of use to some one.
The pictures aren't sorted, I don't have that time with a 2 month old baby.

quick question: are there any parts in the machine that do need to be greased and not oiled?

Some pics of the horror:

quick question 2: is there supposed to be a spring under the two bearings - marked with red?
