Schaublin- Is there room for a 102N turret on a 102N-VM ?

Seems like this has come up before but don't remember the answer. One might think like the wider (and not removable) carriage of the 102N-VM might be problematic for 102 turret use...maybe even impossible.

I wonder if the turret would travel over the cross slide if the compound was removed ?
